In 1991, the Zelda saga took a technological leap with its arrival on the Super Nintendo. With A Link to the Past, Nintendo abandoned side-scrolling in favor of a 3D isometric view, an illusion of depth that enhanced the graphics of the time.
It all begins on a stormy night... Link is awakened by a mysterious voice pleading for help. He sees his uncle leave the house, promising to return the next day. But driven by instinct, Link decides to follow him—thus begins one of the greatest adventures in video game history.
