Two years after the immense success of Ocarina of Time, Nintendo returned with a much darker, more enigmatic and oppressive title: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Released in 2000 on the legendary Nintendo 64, this game stands out for its unique atmosphere, mature themes and its innovative concept based on a three-day cycle.
It all begins as Link, riding Epona, traverses a mysterious forest. However, his journey is abruptly interrupted when he crosses paths with a masked character, Skull Kid, who steals Epona and the Ocarina of Time, leaving Link helpless.
Soon, Link discovers that Skull Kid is under the evil influence of the Majora’s Mask, a legendary artifact with destructive powers. This cursed mask has corrupted Skull Kid, driving him to crash the moon onto Termina, a world parallel to Hyrule.
⏳ Time is running out: Link has only three days to avert disaster! Fortunately, thanks to his Ocarina, he can rewind time and relive these three days over and over, gathering knowledge and items to progress.
